With a combination of slacking off, and being busy, somehow almost a week slipped by without me noticing. In the interest of time, I'm only going to do 4/6 days

Day 20-22

I was quite busy the last few days, so I couldn't get around to drawing until today.Days 20-22 are based on a news article and an event that's going on in one of my classes. I attempted to draw lips, since they give me a lot of trouble. I think they came out all right, but I need to keep on improving.

I almost didn't post this, but in the end, I decided that all of these line drawings should be shown, so I know what I need to work on/ people I've already drawn...

Also, (this is more a note to myself) to remind me of Matisse's lineart, I looked up Matisse line portrait on google images....it had pretty good results, including this: link

I saw this contest for inception-related work on an art site I go on to. So I decided to do day 17 on Mr. Dicaprio.

Day 18. Today I went to a christmas party at a cousins house...my little cousin, Auden, is so cute, so I took a picture of him and that is day 18!
I also noticed that I'm having a bit of trouble drawing people with really short hair/hair close to their head, so I'm going to try to find references of people with those types of hair, so I can practice at that, for future days.

Day 16

I drew this in the computer with a mouse, so it may be shakier than my usual ones.

Day 16

I felt like practicing people with curly hair!

I did another version after the one on the left, so I'm going to put that one up also, just to see which one is better.

Day 15

I have a folder on my computer titled "People". So dug around and I got my ref. out of that folder.

day 11-13

Day 2

Today on channel 13(...or was it 21?) was mystery day which made me think about this the TV series, Sherlock. It's basically Sherlock Holmes, but in modern day times (Sherlock and Watson use blackberries and things like that). So today's line drawing is of, Benedict Cumberbatch:  the actor of Shelock Holmes!

Day 1

I had a couple ideas for daily practice, and I finally decided on doing a line drawing once a day. I want to practice drawing different people of different ages and nationalities to get more experience at drawing people. I feel that matisse-style line drawings is a good, and fast, start on how to do this, so here is the first one:
